The is notification of pesticide/herbicide application with the trade names of
Chaser 2 Amine and the EPA registration number of
34704-930,
Drive XLR8 and the EPA registration number of
7969-272 is scheduled to be applied on
August 12, 2025, at specific locations of:
- 102 Broadway (Bucksport High School) Lawn area of the football field
- 28 Miles Lane (Practice football field)
- 29 Miles Lane (Practice soccer field)
This is being done to help manage weed control of the playing fields, as part of our Integrated Pest Management Program to ensure a healthy school environment. Signs will also be posted at access points and at central locations at least two working days prior to, and will remain posted for 48 hours after, the application. Application date and location can be found on the RSU 25 Website Announcements (www.rsu25.org).
This notice is being provided at least five days prior to the planned pesticide application in accordance with our school’s Integrated Pest Management Policy and in compliance with Maine Board of Pesticides Control Regulation CMR 01-026 Chapter 27.
